ICON Distributing Management Team

Scott Williams, the CEO, attended the University of North Carolina and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio/Television/Motion Pictures. Mr. Williams has been married for ten years to his wife Lisa, and they are proud parents of two young children, Benjamin and Ava.

Mr. Williams played basketball for the Tarheels, who were consistently ranked in the top 10 by the Associated Press. After graduating from UNC, Mr. Williams continued his basketball career by playing in the National Basketball Association. Mr. Williams played with the Chicago Bulls (1990-94), along with teammates Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen won three NBA Titles (1991-93). Mr. Williams was one of only eight players in NBA history to win Championships in his first three years in the league. Mr. Williams continued his very successful career in the NBA for a span of fifteen years, playing for the Philadelphia 76ers; Milwaukee Bucks; Denver Nuggets; Phoenix Suns; Dallas Mavericks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Mr. Williams has been and still is active in the community, involving himself in fundraising and charitable causes. Mr. Williams’ favorites are: Athletes Against Drugs; the Boys & Girls Club of America; the YMCA; the United Way; Domestic Violence Center and local children’s hospitals. Mr. Williams has traveled abroad extensively, setting up camps; clinics and seminars to teach basketball to children of all ages.

Mr. Williams, now retired from the NBA, is enjoying a career as an analyst for ESPN; ESPN Radio; NBA TV and as a television commentator for the Cleveland Cavaliers on the Fox Sports Network.

Although new to the Distribution Industry, Mr. Williams has always had an active interest in Home Audio-Video products. Scott’s passion for winning and dedication to hard work will make him a valuable team member of Icon Distributing.

Wade Gaboriault, the president, started in the audio-video field almost fifteen years ago, working for companies like Jerry’s Audio; Buzz Jensen; AT&T; RL Ronson Security and Best Buy.  Mr. Gaboriault has certification for CEDIA I; Fiber One; Lutron Prime; Panasonic Level 2; Lucas Films and THX, Dolby Digital Trained. Mr. Gaboriault has designed and installed commercial and residential electronics systems throughout Arizona, California, Nevada, New York and Florida. Mr. Gaboriault has been successful running his own contracting business for over seven years and now brings his expertise to the area of distributing audio-video products. Mr. Gaboriault has established and maintained a strong client base over the years, and plans to use the same philosophy to grow Icon Distributing.

Scott Bigler, account/sales manager, has more than eleven years in the audio-video experience. Scott started with Troxell Communications in 1994, after having served his country for four years in the United States Navy during Desert Storm. Mr. Bigler has been a service coordinator; buyer; purchasing manager; sales representative and sales manager while working in the audio-video industry. Mr. Bigler has worked for several different companies including, Home Systems Integration; Showcase Home Entertainment and Primax Audio-Video. In 2002, Mr. Bigler was named Employee of the Year for Primax Audio-Video because he produced record sales for the company. He opened the Arizona facility for Primax AV, and over a five year period, sales grew over 400%. Mr. Bigler’s proven ability to start and run a sales force will make Icon Distributing a contender for top audio-video distributor in the years to come.

Martin M. Garcia,  Sales Representative, having twelve years of experience marketing the electronics industry has made Martin extremely proficient in his line of work.  Martin has established accounts throughout Arizona and has extensive training in retail electronics. Martin’s vast knowledge and preceding reputation as a “go-getter” in the electronics industry has bought him to ICON Distributing where he fulfills his career goal as a Sales Representative.

Bob Burris, Purchasing/Office Manager, has worked in the field of audio-video and security for more than twelve years, with experience in product knowledge, purchasing; inventory control; shipping; receiving; payables and receivables. Having work for such companies as ADT, RL Ronson Security and Xedcom Technologies, Inc., Mr. Burris is familiar with all phases of office management and accounting.

Joshua Heaton, our Systems Administrator, has more than seven years of professional computing experience, in addition to nearly an entire lifetime of amateur tinkering. He started doing PC repair and progressed to networking and servers. In 1998, Mr. Heaton achieved Comptia A+ certification, in 2001 Microsoft’s MCSE certification. In May of 2005, he completed his B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. The past 3 years, Mr. Heaton has worked for a senior systems administrator for the nation’s second largest software healthcare call center provider. Icon Distributing is using his technical computer expertise to run their computer system.
